Check out the Ars Technica in depth review of Tiger. It’s long and it’s dense, but if you’re anything like me, you’ll walk away with a better understanding of OS design as well as a good idea of whether or not Tiger is a good buy for you. By way of Alex King.

Every now and then you happen upon something that strikes a chord, and the concepts you see before you seem to be taken from your own thoughts and desires about how the world is and how it should be.
Mark Cuban preaches a gospel of what it takes to truly be successful in business. Really, most of what he says applies to any craft/activity.

Lessig makes a case for municipal WiFi. Personally, I think we’ll realize one day that telecom infrastructure is just as important as roads are to our vitality as a sovereign state.

So, their’s Synergy:
a tiny Cocoa application for Mac OS X 10.2 (and later) that puts three buttons to control iTunes in your menubar
There’s also Synergy:
easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers with different operating systems, each with its own display, without special hardware.
Normally, I’d suggest a Googlefight, but that just doesn’t seem practial.

Tim Bray recently wrote an easy to understand summary of the possible directions development on multi-core processors is heading.
Tim Bray outlines developing for multi-core processors, and where the techniques for such development are heading. It’s a simple overview that’s useful to developers unfamiliar with that territory.
Some days, I just can’t write, and things don’t make sense. Hopefully the new version of this news is more easily understood.

Check out Billy Harvey’s website. It’s a great example of simulating 3d effects in Flash with simple scaling and volume manipulation. Oh, and it’s really cool too. That’s why you should check it out.
